HG Alexios Mar Eusebius Conducted Holy Qurbana on January 6, 2012

Diocesan Metropolitan, HG Alexios Mar Eusebius conducted Holy Qurbana at St. Gregorios Orthodox Church Houston on Friday, January 6, 2012. This marked the beginning of extended worship schedule for this year at St. Gregorios Church, Houston.

In his sermon, Mar Eusebius reminded the importance of celebrating the remembrance of John the Baptist day on January 7th. Thirumeni also praised the hard-work and enthusiasm of the Vicar, Rev Fr. P.M. Cheriyan for making the Holy Qurbana available every Friday in English. Friday Service is intended towards youth participation and to all faithful who wish to attend the Holy Qurbana in English. This will also provide an opportunity for recently ordained priests to conduct Holy Qurbana. Recently ordained priest Rev. Fr. Christopher Mathews will conduct the Holy Qurbana on January 13, 2012.

Along with His Grace, the occasion was graced by the presence of Rev. Fr. Mathukutty Varghese, Rev. Fr. Mammen Mathew, Rev. Fr. Giji Thomas, Rev. Fr. Christopher Mathew and Rev. Dn. Dennis Mathai.
